Simon Castillio Casal's Obituary
Simon Castillio Casal, 82, entered into the arms of Jesus Friday, April 17, 2015. He was born October 28, 1932 in the Philippines to the late Venancio and Concepcion (Castillio) Casal. In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by his first wife, Carmen; brothers, Lito and Paulino Casal; sisters, Victoria Casal Luig and Lourdes Casal Legaspi.
He came to Florida 17 months ago from his hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Simon proudly served in the US Navy for 25 years as a Master Chief Officer. Following his retirement, he went on to serve the Navy as an ASO civilian for another 20 plus years. He loved to read and work crossword puzzles.
Graveside service with military honors will be held Monday, April 27th, 2015 at Sarasota National Cemetery at 12:30 PM. Memories and condolences may be left online at www.skywaymemorial.com.
