Sondra Harris Goldman's Obituary
Sondra Helene Goldman (Harris), age 89, passed away, surrounded by her loving daughters on February 18th, 2022, at Life’s Path Hospice. She was born in Rahway, New Jersey on March 10th, 1932, to Joseph and Malvina Harris. After moving to Queens, New York, she followed her passion, studying fashion design at Pratt University. After her graduation, she married the love of her life, Gilbert Goldman, on June 19th, 1951. She was a doting wife for 71 years until his passing in 2019. Throughout her life, she was a sought after fashion stylist, working at premier stores in New York, New Jersey, and Florida until her retirement at age 83. On November 14th, 2003, she suffered the loss of one of her three grandsons, SPC Jacob Fletcher, who died serving his country in Iraq. She is survived by her loving sister-in-law and best friend Miriam, her two cherished daughters, Illisa and Dorine, her loving grandchildren Jason, Angie and Kyle, great-grandchildren, Joe, Molly, Rory, Sadie, Aiden and Kylin, and great-great grandchild Colin. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Sarasota National Cemetery, at 09:30AM, on Friday February 25th, 2022.
