Steven Joe Auler's Obituary
Steven Joe Auler, 62, passed away December 6, 2014. He was born May 17, 1952 in Anderson, Indiana to the late Yogi and Emma (Chapel) Auler. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by mother Emma’s companion (after Yogi passed) Ray Antrobus; and a brother, Harry.
Steven moved to Manatee County in August from Clay, West Virginia. He was a member of the VFW and Moose Club. Steven had been a supervisor of Asplundh Tree Service for the Railroads in New York. Steven loved to go to car shows, racing, driving, playing the lottery and gambling. He also played on a pool league for many years.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Vickie; daughters, Barbara Geroli (George) of Palmetto and Stephanie McIntire (Scott Sparks) of Seale, Alabama; son, Steven Auler II (Lisa) of Bradenton; brothers, Gene Auler (Regina) of Indiana, Jr. Auler of Texas and Jim Auler (Pam) of Indiana; sisters, Marsha Markham (Gary) of Texas and Judy Clymer (Jack) of Texas; grandchildren, Mrissa Parsons, Whisper Chester (Destin) and Christine Chester (Jason); and great-grandchildren, Aaron, Skylar and Kayden.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, December 10th, 2014 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Skyway Memorial Funeral Home, 5200 US Highway 19 N., Palmetto, Florida. Funeral will begin at 3:00 PM with interment to follow.
