Steven Wayne Sanders' Obituary
Steven Wayne Sanders, 63, passed away October 22, 2014. He was born November 8, 1950 in Charleston, South Carolina to the late William Alfred and Norma Jean ( Ogden) Sanders.
Steven came to Manatee County in 1973 from Charleston. He was a member of St. Martha’s Catholic Church in Sarasota, the VFW and the American Legion. He served proudly in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam. Steven loved FSU and Bucs football, golf, fishing and eating.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Kristy Dwyer of Georgia; son, Ryan Sanders (Alicia) of Seattle, Washington; sisters, Connie Jean Bruton of Palm Bay, Florida and Gail Marie Sanders of Orlando, Florida; brothers, William Russel Sanders of Melborne, Florida and Gregory Sean Sanders (Kristen Andrews) of Sarasota, Florida; grandchildren, Landon Sanders and Corbin Williams.
There will be a memorial service with Military Honors on Saturday, November 8th, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the Skyway Memorial Gardens, 5200 US Highway 19 N. Palmetto, Florida 34221.
