Susan Lange Greenwood's Obituary
Susan Lange Greenwood, 76 years young, passed away January 27, 2023. Susan was born on January 27, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Col. Chester E. Lange and Mildred Ester Smiley Lange. She received her BS from Purdue University in Interior Design and her MS from Butler University in Education. Susan was a legacy member of Phi Mu, Delta Epsilon Chapter at Purdue. Susan taught Home Economics for several years for IPS at Manual HS and John Marshall HS while teaching night classes at Butler University and Anderson College on Interior Design.
She owned and operated Lange Interiors in Indianapolis, IN for 30 years, it's also where she met the love of her life William “Bill” Greenwood. Susan and Bill relocated to Bradenton, FL in 2006 where they enjoyed retirement however Susan continued consulting with Sherwin Williams during her time down here in Florida with a total of 27 years. Susan was a hard worker but her greatest joy was spending time with those she loved including her many poodles and more recently a rescue West Highland Terrier and meeting new people.
She will be forever remembered as a positive, loyal, proud, and loved individual.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Bill Greenwood, brother: Stephen Lange and his wife Sandra, nieces: Georgina and husband Lloyd of Grapeland, Tx and their children: Gwyn Resaire of Loveland, CA and Eleanor Pousson of Austin, TX, Kelly Haney and her husband Jim and their children: Kassi Haney of Indianapolis, IN, and Stephanie Watson and her husband Joshua and their daughter: Erica Colton of Atlanta, IN, and nephew Gregory Lange and his wife Elizabeth of Cape Coral, FL and their children: Cody Lange and his wife Bria of Tipton, IN, Cheyann House and her husband Dillon of Anderson, IN, and Tyberius Grayda Lange of Cape Coral,FL; along with a host of other family and friends.
