Terrill Ann Bergin's Obituary
Terrill Ann Bergin, 73, of Sun City Center passed away on Saturday, October 13th, 2018 with family by her side. She was born to the late Edwin Rine and the late Betty (Rine) Dillon on April 11th, 1945.
Terrill always shared fond memories of family and friends from her upbringing in Bath, NY. It was in Bath that she met a handsome, young man, named Rick, who later became her husband of 53 years. Terrill was a graduate of Haverling High School, Class of 1963, followed by Central City Business Institute in Syracuse, NY. After graduation, she held a position with Corning Glassworks and wed her husband, Richard. A few years later, the couple moved to Johnson City, NY and soon after purchased their first home in nearby Endicott. It was there that she and Richard raised their daughter, Amy and were blessed with many life long friends. Their door was always open and became a gathering place for anyone who wanted to stop in or come for a visit. After 27 years, the Florida sunshine called. Terrill and Rick had homes in Plant City, Wesley Chapel and for the last 8 years, Sun City Center, which she always took great pride and found happiness in decorating.
In addition to being a loving wife and mother, Terrill was a wonderful friend to many, often putting the needs of others above her own. She was always there to help and did so with a smile. Terrill was also an amazing grandmother to her three grandsons, Alex, Chris and Billy beaming with pride whenever she spoke of them. Terrill always looked forward to trips with family, her sister and best friend, Kay, and her annual beach trip with her husband where the couple had made numerous friendships over the last 13 years. The beach was her happy place.
Terrill is survived by her husband, Richard, her daughter Amy Lee and husband, Bill. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Alex Morton, Chris Morton and Billy Lee, as well as many loving relatives and friends.
A small, private service will be held at Skyway Memorial Gardens for friends and family. The family wishes to thank all of those who have embraced them with love and support through this difficult time.
