Vera Silenzi's Obituary
Vera Silenzi, 95, of Bradenton, passed away November 18, 2014 at her residence under the loving care of her family and staff of Tidewell Hospice. Mrs. Silenzi was born October 26, 1919 in Porto San Giorgio, Italy. She was a homemaker and attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bradenton, Florida. Mrs. Silenzi was very active with the Knights of Columbus where she had cooked her delicious spaghetti and meatballs for those who played bingo. She enjoyed knitting and being surrounded by her loving family.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children; Joe Silenzi and his wife Cora Sue of Bradenton, JoAnn Julian and her fiancé Dan Sellars of New Baltimore, Michigan; grandchildren, Eric Silenzi and his wife Trina; Julie Silenzi and her fiancé Andy; and Tammy Walker and husband Dan; great-grandchildren, Savannah Silenzi, Sanibel Silenzi, Bodhi Silenzi, Clint Faulconer, Kinsey Faulconer, Katelynn Walker and Kendall Walker.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 1:00 to 1:30 PM at the Skyway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 5200 US Highway 19 N., Palmetto, Florida. Funeral service will begin at 1:30 PM followed by entombment in the Skyway Memorial Gardens.
