Vincent Antonio Garcia 's Obituary
Vincent ”Vinny” Antonio Garcia was lovingly held by his parents as he passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on March 20th at 11:53 a.m. Vincent was born on October 28th 2016 and in his three short years on this earth, he touched many hearts and was deeply loved by a multitude of friends and family. His life was a gift to us and in death, he continued to give the gift of life to others through organ donation.
Vinny was born to Sunshine (Jacqueline) Warner and Servando Garcia Jr. of Bradenton. He is survived by his sister and best friend, Persayis, as well as two paternal half-siblings, Godiva “Pita” Garcia and Aiden Garcia.
Vinny is the paternal grandson of Rita Garcia and Servando Garcia Sr. and the maternal grandson of Craig and Santina Westbrook of Parrish. He is survived by paternal uncles Ismael “Smiley” Garcia and Leo Garcia and paternal aunts Yesenia Garcia, Brenda Cruz and Erika Avalos. He will be missed by his maternal uncles Anthony Westbrook, Ian Westbrook and Alex Westbrook and also maternal aunt Lexi Dudley. Vinny has a special place in the hearts of his maternal great-grandparents Robert “Butch” and Glenda Westbrook, great grandmother Schuree Myers and his great, great grandmother, Marian Cook. His memory will live on with his paternal cousins Ismael “Nugget” Garcia, Alena Garcia, Emilio Garcia and Leonnah Garcia as well as his great aunts, great uncles and other family members too numerous to list.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother Florence Pustai, both his maternal great grandfathers Stephen Pustai and Michael Myers and his paternal great grandparents Micaela Garcia and Manuel Garcia Sr.
Vinny loved music and loved to dance. His favorite movies were Toy Story, Moana and Baby Boss, and he loved the TV show Paw Patrol. He loved to eat his Memaw’s cooking and every kind of chip and cracker. Vinny loved people and he loved to cuddle. He leaves a hole in our hearts but we believe he is dancing with Jesus while eating potato chips.
A private family visitation will be held on Wednesday March 24, 2020; with a service and visitation beginning at 6 pm at Skyway Memorial 5200 US Highway 19 N Palmetto, FL 34221.
