Virgina Longoria Facundo's Obituary
Virginia Longoria Facundo, 68, passed away surrounded by family members on June 16, 2023. Virginia was born in San Antonio, Tx to Jesus and Angelica Longoria on August 21, 1954. Virginia was an avid volunteer for Manatee County School district helping with local parades, community involvement and the PTA. She worked at Century 21 as a Bilingual specialist but had many other career path callings. Virginia was a collector of tea sets and all things pineapple but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and making them laugh especially niece Cici Rios Torres. Virginia was preceded in death by her son Juan Diego Facundo, husband: Faustino Facundo, and long time companion: Juan Rodriguez Mancera. Left to cherish Virginias memory are her surviving children Jose (Kathy) Mancera, Juanita Mancera (William Gazar), Faustino Facundo, Javier Facundo(Lou) and Connie Facundo; beloved grand children: Samantha, Mario, Dezerai, Moses, Sandra, Sid, Ava, Ivy, Luis, Lilliana, Maddie, Gabe, Jenna, Angel, Owyn, Gio, Yahaira, Natalia, Sofia, Lilli, and Dennis; 18 great grandchildren; and siblings: Manuela (Juan) Escobedo, Delores Robledo, and Genio Longoria; along with a host of other family and friends. Private view will be Monday June 19, 2023 from 3-4pm at Skyway Memorial Gardens 5200 US Highway 19 Palmetto, FL 34221.
