Virginia Moore's Obituary
Lenora Virginia Moore, passed away in Bradenton on September 14, 2013. Virginia was born July 22, 1915 in Denmark, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Fredrick Moore, her parents, Austin Benjamin Musgrave and Ellen Hanson Musgrave, her brothers Leo (Sibyl) Musgrave, Glen (Donna) Musgrave, Eugene (Arlene) Musgrave, a granddaughter Katherine (Ken) Harber. She is survived by a sister, Betty (Dave) Norris, brothers, Van Arvid (Jean) Musgrave and Roger (Carolyn) Musgrave. Virginia was the mother of six children, Robert Austin (Donna) Moore of Beckley, WV, Duane L. (Mary Margaret) Moore of Bradenton, FL, daughter Carol (James) Henderson of Live Oak, FL, son, Eugene (Valerie) Moore of Bradenton, FL, daughter, Ruth Ann (Richard) Wood of Bradenton, FL and daughter Elaine (Dr. Bruce) Hudson also of Bradenton, FL. She was grandmother of twenty two grandchildren and great grandmother to over forty great grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren. Virginia was an avid artist in several mediums. She was the Founding Secretary of The International Porcelain Arts where she served for several years. Always a lover of classical and religious music, she played piano, organ, and the violin. Her other interests were quilting and she was a meticulous seamstress. Virginia played the piano for many years at Denmark Community Church, starting at age fifteen. In later years she was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church where she served again as pianist. She devoted a lifetime to her family. She was always known for her gentle personality. Mr. and Mrs. Moore moved to Bradenton from Jefferson, Ohio in 1954. Together they founded Moore's Dairy Incorporated in Bradenton, FL. The visitation will be Saturday, September 21, 2013, at 10:00 AM, held at the First Baptist Church Chapel Bradenton. Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow the service at Skyway Memorial Gardens. The Family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in the name of Virginia Moore, to either Manatee County Girl's Club Foundation, Inc., 1011 21st St. E.
