Walter T. Rector's Obituary
85, passed away Saturday morning, August 1st, 2015. Walt was born on May 5th, 1930 in Lubbock, TX. Survived by wife Ann, daughter Diane (Perry Portugal), sons Steve (Duane Rector) and Scott, and grandson Gordon. Walt lived in many places during the tenure of his lengthy and successful career with Air Products, choosing Bradenton as his final home. He was a loving, accomplished, generous and honorable man well loved by those whose lives he touched. He was an avid golfer, playing at Bradenton Country Club and many other courses in the US and UK. He had a strong faith in God and worshiped at CrossPointe Fellowship church on Anna Maria Island. Walt was a world traveller and lived in England on two different occasions. He was a strong family man and will be greatly missed by his wife and family. Services will be held at CrossPointe Fellowship at 11:30AM on Wednesday, August 5th, located at 8605 Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach. Contributions: CrossPointe Fellowship.
