William "Bill" Ammons' Obituary
William "Bill" E. Ammons, 90, of Bradenton, FL, passed away May 12, 2016. Bill was born in Aynor, SC on January 28, 1926 to the late; Willie and Courtney Cooper Ammons. Bill moved from Mooresville, NC in 1965 to Bradenton. Bill proudly served our Country during WWII. He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. Bill was a hard working man and over the years worked for Bradenton Office Equipment, Tropicana, drove trucks and worked as an exterminator. He worked at Walmart on Cortez Rd until he was almost 80. He will be deeply missed.
Bill is survived by "his angel," wife, Elizabeth Ammons, of Bradenton, FL, sons; Ken (Karen) Ammons, of Bradenton, FL, James (Kim) Carey, of Troutman, NC, daughter, Bonnie (Michael) Stewart, of Mooresville, NC, stepchildren, Judy (Richard) Fiddler, of Sarasota, FL, Allen (Cathy) Dorton, of Bradenton, FL, Kris Dorton, of Bradenton, FL, Lisa (Thomas) Dielts, of Bradenton, FL, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Edna Ammons, and brothers, Elwood and Arthur Ammons.
