William "Bill" Joseph Flood's Obituary
William “Bill” Joseph Flood, 77, passed away January 2, 2015. He was born January 11, 1937 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Edward Philip and Catherine (Moran) Flood. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Jack and Ed.
Bill retired after 20 years in the US Army. He was a Methodist and was a member and officer of the VFW in Palmetto, the Moose Lodge 2117 and American Legion Post 309. Bill loved Karaoke, antique cars, VFW and traveling in his RV with his wife.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 25 years, Helen of Palmetto; children, Jim Flood of Philadelphia, PA; Joe Flood of Texas; Barbara Marshall of Philadelphia, PA; Robert Schiller and his wife Diane of Anapolis, MD; and William Schiller and his wife Maureen of Philadelphia, PA; grandchildren, Jessica, Melissa, Amanda, Kirsten, Robert, Matthew, Andrew, Billy, Cheryl, Kollett and Kristen; and 8 great-grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Country Lakes Village Clubhouse, 5700 Bayshore Road, Palmetto, Florida 34221. Condolences and memories and be left online at www.skywaymemorial.com.
