William O'Brien's Obituary
William O’Brien,96, of Bradenton passed away on January 11, 2021.William was born in Rushville, Indiana. Mr. O’Brien will fondly be remember as a Coach, school principal, local celebrity, jokester and soldier during World War II. Mr. O’Brien was predeceased by his daughter, Claudia. He is survived by a son, William O’Brien III; three beloved grandchildren, Spring Olivera, Zach Olivera and Summer Young, and eight great-grandchildren: Ryan, Jordan, Emily, Zachary Jr, Ryhanna, Jack, Mavrik, and Maddox. A graveside service will be held on February 19, 2021 at 11:00 am at Sarasota National Cemetery 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241. In Lieu of flowers The O’Brien Family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the William O’Brien Principal’s Scholarship Fund at State College of Florida Foundation.
