William J Pfister's Obituary
William J. Pfister, 321 Peace Manor, Palmetto, Fl. 34221 and formerly of 757 Davidson Street, Watertown, NY 13601 passed away on November 17, 2020.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bonnie E. Pfister. His children, William T. Pfister, Palmetto, Fl., Michael J. Pfister, Palmetto, Fl., Patti A. Pfister/Nichole E. Vogel of Watertown, NY 13601.
Bill worked for Jeff. Bottling Co. (Pepsi Cola) of Watertown for 28 years before retiring in 1998. He was a Service Mechanic.
Bill was also well known as Papa Bill to the children that were cared for by his wife. They were all just like his grandkids.
Bill used to love to golf and do woodworking as a hobby.
He was a veteran and proudly served in the Marine Corps.
When he retired from Pepsi they moved to Casselberry, Florida where he loved golfing and going to the beach. Here in Palmetto, they loved eating out three nights a week.
He was known as the “Miracle Man” because he survived 8 brain surgeries.
Bill is survived by his siblings Joan Ganter, Watertown, NY, Robert Pfister (Jean) Watertown, NY, Patricia (William) Parody, Watertown, NY, John Pfister (Bonnie), Cary, NC and Peggy Lawler (Carl) of Watertown, NY. He is predeceased by his parents William L. and Katherine E Pfister and a sister Catherine E. Ache.
Bill will be sadly missed by all.
