Arlene Mary Schiavarelli (née McLarney), aged 70, passed away on January 28, 2025, in Safety Harbor, FL. Born in Rockville Center, New York, she had been a proud resident of Florida since 1996.
Arlene is survived by her devoted spouse of over 40 years, Paul Schiavarelli; her sons, Junior, John, Daniel (and his wife, Wendy), and Kenneth (and his wife, Amber); her former daughter-in-law, Tanya Carretta (and her spouse, Jon); her sisters, Lori and Lisa; as well as 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and her beloved animals, Rocky and Scooter.
Before retiring, Arlene had a distinguished career as a Senior Quality Engineer at General Electric, where her dedication and expertise were greatly valued. Beyond her professional life, she had a love for animals and generously volunteered at a local shelter. Arlene cherished the holiday season, especially Christmas, and one of her most beloved traditions was baking and decorating cookies with her children and grandchildren.
A funeral service to honor Arlene's life will be held at 1 pm on Monday, February 10, at Skyway Memorial Gardens, 5200 US Hwy 19 N, Palmetto, FL. Friends and family are invited to gather one hour prior to the service. Arlene's legacy of love, devotion, and professionalism will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
