Betty Jo Carter's Obituary
Dr. Betty Jo Carter, M.D. passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, February 18th, 2024. She died peacefully surrounded in love by her family.
She worked as a physician in the Ruskin area for many years and touched the lives of many people in the community. She loved animals and always had dogs around her.
She was proceeded in death by her daughter, Maria Fernandez, her parents, James and Estelle Carter and her brother Kenneth Carter. She is survived by her brother Robert Carter, her children, Laura Bertoncini, Arnoldo, Bertoncini, David Bertoncini, and Roderick Bertoncini 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held February 23 at 12 - 2:00 PM with a Graveside service at 2:30 followed by a celebration of life at Skyway Memorial, Palmetto Florida.
