Denise Marie Uhouse's Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Denise Marie Uhouse, age 69, on March 31, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. At her passing, she was surrounded by close loved ones. Denise was born on January 26, 1954 in Detroit Michigan to parents Josephine Belpedio and Alexander Zuba. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years John Uhouse, daughters Stacey (Alex) Garcia and Nicole Uhouse. Granddaughters Ava Fileccia and Natalie Garcia whom she cherished dearly. Beloved sister to Tim (Anna) Zuba and Donna (Jeff) Spicuzzi. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and their families. Denise was a graduate of Wayne State University and went on to get her master’s degree in special education. She worked tirelessly over her 44 year career helping many children with special needs and their families. Her passion for special education led her to share her knowledge as a professor at multiple universities. After her long career, her retirement led her and John to Florida. She became a well loved member of their community, making many adored friends. Denise will be desperately missed by all those she left behind. She was one of a kind and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed.
Services will be held in both Florida and Michigan.
