I was very close to grandpa and would visit a lot at his house. we would sit in chairs across from each other and have the deepest conversations, about all sorts of things. But somehow every time he would make a quick joke to make me laugh. i have nothing but good memories about him and he will always be the best grandpa.
He was certainly a character, what most makes me smile is remembering game nights with He & Bob and how competitive they both were. The game, regardless of whatever we played always turned into an entertaining night of laughter.. I loved those times and pretty sure he’s already challenging Bob on the correct way to play Farkle!

I grew up with Ed aka George and Marilyn as my second set of parents. Mr. Berg wa always funny, witty and full of sarcasm that would drive Mrs. Berg crazy. But I loved being at their house. I always gave him crap for drinking a half of a beer and putting it back in the fridge. I believe he cared for me just like his own and was invested in my own family. I will miss his humor and his smile and grin when he knew he was being smart. He was a great man and truly loved his family.
