Coming way out to Texas to play grandmom AGAIN
I have so many memories of Betty going back over 60 years ago to Philadelphia. Her son, Mark, and I were born just a few months apart and have been close friends ever since. I remember walking down the street to visit Mark. Betty always welcomed me and treated me like another son. When I was ten years old my family moved to Florida. Just one year later Betty, Mark and Nanny Helen came to visit and decided to stay. I was so happy having my best friend living here. Betty and my mom were very close and basically raised all of us kids together. Many years later my wife and I bought a home from Frank and Betty. We have always enjoyed Betty and stayed in touch over the years. She was always interested in how we were doing. Every time I did a renovation on my home I made sure to tell Betty and Frank. I admire how much Mark loved and cared for his mom especially in her final years. We will miss you Betty but are thankful for the important role you played in my our lives.
