My name is Lynda Lancaster (Bill Guthrie's grand-daughter). When I was young Jim & Pat Campbell would come to Cortez from Punta Gorda to visit my grandparents Bill & Mabel Guthrie. Their daughter Bertie Ann was my little friend and we had so many good times together. Later when they moved back to Cortez my grandfather would baby sit Wade while Pat was working over at the beach. Granddaddy Bill and Jim grew up in NC and were best friends. Jim had his teeth pulled but his gums were so had no trouble eating apples. Both your parents were wonderful folks and a blessing to be called good friends.
