Ruie Arlette Gale's Obituary
Ruie Arlette Gale, 90, of Bradenton passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 12, 2021. Ruie was born on July 01, 1930 in Portsmouth, VA to Richard and Idie Furman. Ruie was the Volunteer Coordinator at Blake Hospital for many years but her greatest joy was being a wife, mother, nana and great grandmother. Ruie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Frederick and siblings: Ira Furman, Richard Furman, Lemuel Furman, Alice Terrill, Jenny Blythe, Margie Quidgeon, Nolie McKenzie and Sandra Batten. Ruie is survived by daughters: B. Dianne Cinkovich (Larry), M. Juanita Fowler (Preston), and Iris Gale; 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren and 1 brother, Daryl Furman of Portsmouth, VA, Mary Furman (Lemuel), Don Quidgeon (Margie) of Uncasville, CT and a host of other family and friends. A service will be held on Friday February 19, at 11 am at the Mausoleum chapel at Skyway Memorial Gardens. All are welcomed as long as you maintain social distancing and wear a mask.
