Susie W Konicov's Obituary
Bradenton - Konicov, Susie W., age 84, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026. Devoted mother of Stephanie Konicov-Banfill (Kathy King) and Gary Jan Konicov (Annedys), loving grandmother of Mikayla Clark (Matt), Skyler Banfill, Lynch Robles and L.A. Konicov, and beloved great-grandmother of Jackson Clark.
As a child survivor of the Holocaust whose parents survived internment at Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, Susie dedicated her life to a profound purpose— as a Jewish educator and Hebrew teacher, she sought to honor her parents by ensuring future generations were deeply immersed in Jewish culture.
This commitment was exemplified through every Bar/Bat Mitzvah and adult student she taught over her sixty-year career.
She also made substantial global contributions as an editor and publisher of transformative works intended to provide individuals with the resources to cultivate more harmonious and purposeful lives.
A name synonymous with love and purpose, Susie was understanding by nature and lived authentically, an intelligent woman whose kindness was felt by all.
Services at the Skyway Memorial Funeral Home Mausoleum Chapel, 5200 US Hwy 19N, Palmetto, FL 34221 will begin promptly at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.
