Greg Pike
Managing Partner, Operations
Meet Greg Pike, our new Managing Partner, Operations (MPO) at Skyway Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home in Palmetto, Florida.With a distinguished career spanning over 35 years, Greg is a seasoned licensed Funeral Director with a proven track record of excellence. He began his journey with NorthStar over a decade ago at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, and most recently served as Funeral Home Manager at Moran and Goebel Funeral Home in his hometown of Decatur, Illinois.Greg's passion for the industry is evident in his dedication to supporting families through life's most difficult moments and helping them plan for the future. He is thrilled to bring his extensive experience to the Palmetto community and work alongside the Skyway Team to make a positive impact.Outside of work, Greg is eager to enjoy Florida's warm winters, stunning beaches, and abundant fishing opportunities with his wife, Deneil. Together, they are proud parents of six children and doting grandparents to eight wonderful grandchildren, and are excited to start this new chapter in their lives.
Bill Popovski
Managing Partner, Family Service
Bill V Popovski began his career in the funeral and cemetery profession with North Star Memorial Group Fort Myers location in 2014. He is passionate about serving others in their time of need and is committed to integrity, dignity, and excellence. Born and raised Up State Buffalo NY Bill has been serving families for over25 years at his family-owned Country Market in a farm Town of Hamburg NY. ( Home of the Erie County Fair).Accompanying families and working with wonderful and dedicated colleagues keeps me committed and engaged every day it is a privilege to serve others. Bill has two daughters and Son he is devoted to his family and committed to his faith. When Bill is not working ,he can be found in the outdoors fishing and spending time with family.
Mark Morrison
Family Service Advisor
Mark Morrison is our premier family service advisor. He came to us from another cemetery to help the families of Palmetto,Bradenton, and surrounding areas. When Mark isn't working he enjoys, kayaking, fishing, biking, and spending time making his family and friends laugh.
