Montelle L. Miller, 89, of Bradenton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 11, 2022. He was at home surrounded by his loving family. Born January 17, 1933 in Gunplain Michigan, he was the son of the late Verne F. and Hazel D. (Beardsley) Miller. In Michigan, Monty worked at the General Motors plant for 27.5 years as a Tool and Die Maker. As an active member of Church of God in Otsego, MI, it was here he met and married his love of nearly 68 years, Margaret (Horton) Miller. He was given the gift of a green thumb and shared this gift with both Michigan Master Gardener Volunteer Program and The Florida Master Gardener Volunteer Program. Monty also volunteered at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens and Manatee Hospital Thrift Shop. Monty and Margaret are active members of The Church at Bradenton: First Church of God. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Don and June. Monty is survived by his devoted wife, Margaret Miller; his beloved daughter, Stacy Meeth; his cherished grandchildren, Dustin Moore, Megan Meeth, Courtney Meeth, Jacob Meeth including special mention of the Nate Broene family and cousins, nephews, grandnephews and all their families and many wonderful friends.
